Incorrect counter of questions in user's profile

Hello,

Similar to answers, there is also incorrect counter of questions in user's profile. Currently, it shows only two questions, not mentioning, for example, this one and some others, which were asked.

Would you please look into it?

Hello Eli,

Thanks for your question. I am afraid there is a lag in sync between the Universal Profile and other platforms. This causes the user's published content to show up on the Universal Profile with delay in some cases. Your questions are available to view from your profile now. I just checked:

Hi, Eli:

I just noticed that you've been waiting several days for a response. I can tell you that we've reached out to colleagues working on the profile feature to see if we can get more information. But if I were to hazard a guess, I'd say it's doubtful that we can have these performance upgrades done quickly across all platforms.

Still, I hope to get you a more firm response soon (either from me or a colleague).

Thanks, Jerry. I realized that these delays are not something which would be fixed swiftly. Well, it's true that it should not be high priority, as long as the eventual content counter is correct.

I'm afraid, however, that my comment was incorrect -- or at the very least misleading -- as I'm not an expert on this subject. I checked with someone who is, and this is the response I received:

When you view content on your profile you should be aware of the following: We always display a cached version of the profile. Updates of a profile like showing latest content are being done whenever the last view of the profile is older than 10 minutes. Hence I assume that you had a look again at your profile after you submitted the question and it took place in less than 10 mins after the actual submission. We of course know that this is not the ideal situation and we are also looking into designing a faster solution.

My apologies for any confusion I may have caused.

According to my experience this is not true!

Answers I provide show up in my profile the next day - not 10 minutes later....

It's definitely not 10 minutes as Mark has mentioned, but there is a delay. I reported it also in another platform and that was the same answer Jerry has communicated as well.

Just tested now - 19 minutes delay... Not acceptable!

Since you (and others) are reporting a wait time of more than 10 minutes, let me look into this further...

Hi All,

Turns out that when other systems ask for people-related information en masse (for example, when Google decides to crawl our site), this can cause additional delays. But that should not be a frequent occurrence.

Please do reach out again if you still feel that you are experiencing ongoing, frequent delays longer than 10 minutes.

sorry, but it's a costant behaviour for both answers, questions and other submission.

For my case, it takes hours (literally) before my profile is update (and i use it to track if my answers/questions got any reply since the stream is too chaotic and .... meh to navigate).

I already pointed out and i think one between you, Jerry or Caroleigh answered about it.
