H Jamie

This is in continuation of my previous post..,

We have 2 level cascading prompts- Level1,Level2.

There is a value called 'PARETO' in first level that needs to be set as a default value in the list box.

I am able to set the default value using WESelectcascade.but the problem is that there is a value called 'PARETO' which is comng from the Database query.

So,I am getting two 'PARETO' values in the list box(One from the Database query and the other from the default value)

Is there any way to set the value coming from the query as the default value.

Using the default value which i have set using weselectcascade , i am unable to retrieve the values of second level.

Thanks in advance

1) please do not ask for help from a specific person...this is a community forum and you can not expect help from one person. most people on these forums do this voluntarily as per the rules of engagement.

2) please read the rules of engagement [here|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/Rules%20of%20Engagement] regarding looking for an answer yourself first.

your last posts on webelements all have answers in either the samples or in the user guide...read the user guide. look at the samples.

there is a sample in the webelements download that has an example of dynamic cascading prompts and default values. please publish all of the samples to your enterprise environment. look at the webelementsdcp example in the crystal reports designer.
