Work center output

My production facility is looking to keep track of our work center output. We have about 30 individual work centers.

Each work center has a specific goal involving the number of materials they can produce, whether or not they reached that goal and by how many.

We want to be able to measure how long it took each work center to reach their individual goals by the materials they produce. Our goal is to be able to utilize this data within SAP by entering all our timekeeping data for the work centers in SAP.

I've been looking around at different ways to do this within SAP, but I'm unsure of what would really fit our needs. We run the AFS version of SAP (apparel and footware) so we utilize multiple grid values for each of our materials.

What would you suggest for our situation? All help and advice is appreciated.

Hi Cameron,

there are two step you can choose :

- transaction COHV

- submit desired workcenter on workcenter field

- submit starting period on absolute date on header level-basic start date-from (eg. 01.11.2009)

- submit end period on absolute date on header level-basic start date-to (eg.30.11.2009)

- execute

there is two column you can use to compare your actual (planned) target on total order quantity column compared by achieved quantity on delivered quantity column. (make layout change if column header doesn't appear)

please be careful, on example above if 30.11.2009 is submitted on absolute date on header level-basic finish date-from will result undesired output, because if you are on this way you want to display production order that start on 01.11.2009 and finish on 30.11.2009 (a month long). this is not what do you want rite? so you must submit value as explained above to display all production order which have start date on 01.11.2009 until 30.11.2009

if you are not happy with this report, and want more detail report (eg. want to limit production order start/finish time until hour/minute format) you can do the 2nd way by asking your ABAP to do this. we do well this way

hope it help you,
