We have a report that runs for hours all of a sudden, since few days. Previously it ran fine. The output is 8000 to 11000 rows in excel(not a lot). The underlying stored procedure in sql server, takes a couple of minutes to run. No changes have occurred in the design. we tried restarting all the services in BOE. But there's no effect.
This report does not have any scheduled it is run on demand by end-users or by Prod support personnel. It has run for 7 hours last time.
We are running out of ideas.
Classic Crystal migrated to Crystal for Enterprise 4.1.
However, we found out the 'culprit instance'. End user had changed the destination and SMTP is not configured for security reasons. this caused a crash of the adaptive job server. restarted the services and new instance with correct destination is working.7 seconds.
