Portal CRM UI integration issue

Hi All,

We are working on integrating CRM 7.0 Web UI with Portal 7.0 by uploading business roles from CRM system. The issue we are facing is when we do run Web UI BSP as a stand alone application; all links work fine. But once integrated inside portal through role upload the application does not display link for "Recent items" searched by user. Is this functionality not supported by SAP in portal? I'll appreciate any suggestions if anyone has implemented workaround and best route to develop this.
