Hello SAP,
My company have implemented SAP Ariba and FieldGlass and the project went live. The web connection from Ariba to Fieldglass cannot support certificate exchange; hence, under the recommendation of SAP Fieldglass support we have undertaken this connectivity using a shared secret with user account and password. Our Internal IT security team raised a concern that we are using a shared secret and not certificate based model.
SAP Fieldglass support has not indicated a timeframe when they will embark on a certificate exchange capability is what I have been told.
1) Can you please advise if certificate-based authentication is not supported by SAP in the given scenario above?
2) If certificate-based authentication is not currently supported by SAP, what are the future plans (if any) on certificate-based authentication and support from SAP on this scenario?
Hi Tareq
This question is quite old and I only found it by chance looking for the tag. While I am sure you have solved the issue a long time ago, here a link for other looking for answers: https://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_Fieldglass/Cloud/en-US?task=integrate_task this is the SAP Fieldglass help page on integraitons covering integrations and all related topics.

Jutta
