Hi Sanket

no, not yet. But you can easily create one.

What I meant is: I create a user e.g. "IBPJOB1" and log on with that user to schedule the jobs.

You need to have a user that has enough business authorizations, so therefore I use it to log on - but don't do anything else than use it for scheduling

And if you are interested to have such a user out of the box, please feel free to add this as a feature request. You find the link there via help.sap.com/IBP --> in the right down corner under "Customer Influence"

Hi,

Just complementing Irmhild's suggestion on a specific user for this scenario as an enhancement request, you may check below KBA on the process for this:

Hi Irmi,

I have a similar requirement to create a generic user to run all batch jobs. If I create a user ex: "IBPJOB1", how this account will be activated and how can someone log in with this generic id as it is SSO configured.

I tried creating generic user-id with personal email but not receiving activation emails to personal mail id ex: gmail.

Thanks,

Bkreddy

hi Irmhild,

Thanks for update,

my query is we don't want to reschedule jobs user id specific.

do we have generic sap provided ids for job scheduling.

easiest is to log on to IBP with the to-be-user, and copy the scheduled jobs which copies as well the scheduling options. Than delete the old jobs

Make sure the to-be-user has access to the filters you apply, if applicable, e.g. in a copy operator job if you work with a filter. I usually create a user group for job scheduling and share the filter with the group. Than I assign the user that schedules the jobs to that same group
