Outlook email from sap

Hi All,

Is there any email body size limit for outlook email sending from SAP using BCS classes? If exceeds one mail, will it be automatically push the continuation of email content to next email?

Please help. We are sending consolidated emails with the notifications for a week which are send to sap workflow inbox into one outlook email. If the email body content size exceeds, what will happen?

I don't believe that there is a limit, why not fake a huge email in your test environment and see how the system handles it. You can also search KB if there is a note about it https://support.sap.com/en/my-support/knowledge-base.html

How about generating a report on the back end (stored in some Z-Table), and sending merely the link to the report as an E-Mail?

The report could be viewable on ALV, Web Dynpro, Fiori, etc.
