Effort Logging



Please go through the issue/requirement as mentioned below and suggest a solution,

This is regarding the time sheet entry for our NLT support team.. Please find below the quick problem scenario..

  • The team is providing support for the customer for 24*7

  • As per our company policy, if employee work for 5 days, we need to give week off for 2 days... For most of the employees the weekly off falls Sat and Sunday.

  • But for the NLT team the week off may fall any days in the the week, it could be Monday and Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday or etc.

  • Challenges for this operation team is that SAP considers the week off only on Saturday and Sunday and it does not consider week off for the other week days.. Due to the time sheet entry for NLT support team varies most of the time. This could create issues/concerns(the team members will loose their leaves due to the variation in the time entry sheet) for the NLT support as our latest effort logging policy.

  • As on now, the team is selecting compensatory leave category for filling the week off taken by team on non Saturday and Sunday.

Kindly suggest as to how this can be mapped in the system. Thanks in advance.
