Dynamic Tiering in MDC

Hi,

How does dynamic tiering work when it is used an a MDC environment? If the scenario demands highest level of data isolation between tenants in a MDC environment will dynamic tiering be a good option for data archival?

With MDC a separate dynamic tiering server is required for each tenant, so the DT part of the data is at least at well isolated as the tenants in SAP HANA.

Besides that, DT is not an archiving solution. It's a warm storage solution that is fully integrated into the transaction handling.
