Hi, ALL,
This demonstrates the problem I have. (Sorry post is too big for this forum).
Can someone shed some light on what is happening?
This will be a standalone install of ASE 16 SP03 Express Edition and it fails to get configured.
I probably can skip "Self-Management" and set the "sa" password when log in for the first time, since setting the password is not available, but that is probably wrong.
Anyway, any idea of how do I fix it?
Thank you.
iron_horse ,
Did you see my last post with the log?
According to the log, it looks like the exception comes from the CockPit...
Thank you.

iron_horse ,
Could you please help?
Every time, I try to install I get an exception from Java.
TIA!!

1. I don't even know what HADR is? 😉 So presumably I don't need it. BTW what is HADR?
2. I am not a paying customer - therefore can't do anything with the SAP bug reporting system. If you are - can you file a ticket?
Let me try to install without HADR support/configuration.
I will update the thread with results.
I tried to perform the install without it. Here are the results.
It looks like the exception is thrown by Cockpit setup.
But I need that because I'd like to have the SQLCentral-like software...
BTW, how do you install the server? You said you didn't work with the server install script....
TIA!
