ByDesign price sales and contracts for unit pricing (including pricing scale)

Is there a way to fix a unit of pricing within the contract module? e.g zero quantity at £1.50 per hundred etc.

Second question is for price lists how can you get an up scaling price either using discounts or by using price lists e.g. first 1000 price is £1 next 5000 £5 etc.

Hi Richard,

You can activate a Price List as per requirement from the Scoping Questions and create from Product & Service Portfolio as shown:

Go to Business Configuration --> Implementation Project --> Questions

Let me know if it works and mark the question as answered if your requirement is met or commect back for any further queries.

Hi Richard,

1. Elaborate your issue?

2. You can use the Scales in Price Lists to achieve Scaling Price as shown below:

Anant, Thanks for your reply. My question is how can you have a lower price first then a higher price. Scales only seem to allow for price reductions incrementally not for a lower initial price e.g. given a discounted rate for the first 100 purchases then an increased value. I was hoping I could bind this to a contract e.g. give a price for the first 100 sales of say £1 then every purchase thereafter either goes on to a list price or a fixed pricing schedule per the above.

Hi Richard,

In that case, i suggest use Discount List.

Anant, does this require system setup as I currently have access to overall customer discount but not a specific customer discount price list? do have a screenshot of what the above would look like on discount lists so that I can recreate?
