CTM overplanning

hi

I've maintained Safety Day's Supply as 10 days. When i run CTM, the Days supply planned is way beyond 10 days and goes more than 70 days.

Any idea for such planning.

Hi Joe,

Please look into the following aspects.

1) Check whether safety stock method is maintained alongwith

safety stock days of supply

2) Check any target days of supply maintained in material master

3) Check is there any inconsistency of orders, stocks between

APO & R/3

4) Check whether consider safety days supply is checked under

supplies tab of ctm profile

2) Check any target days of supply maintained in material master - "Not maintained "

3) Check is there any inconsistency of orders, stocks between

APO & R/3 - " No Inconsistencies "

4) Check whether consider safety days supply is checked under

supplies tab of ctm profile - "Checked in CTM profile "

Can you still look into why it plans excess.
