Dear All,

I have just installed Solution Manager 7 EHP1 on Windows 2003 (64 bit), database is oracle 10g.

After installation when I tried to logon using SAP* or ddic user, it give error as

"Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts"

This error message shows when I tried to logon 1st time. I haven't tried seval attepmts to logon.

I have deleted rows of SAP* user from usr02 and restart the server but problem is not solved.

In USR02 table new row of SAP* user added but not able to logon.

I have tried with "psss" and "PASS" password to logon.

Thanks,

Nirav Bhatt

Hello,

If the problem is DDIC is locked, please try to unlock setting the field UFLAG=0 at USR02 table for bname=DDIC.

If you need help with the SQL, please tell me.

The DDIC password is the master password you fixed in the installation process. Also for SAP. However,I have notice in some of our installations that sometimes, DDIC has the master password, but not SAP that has pass instead.

Check that the new SAP* row in USR02 has the UFLAG=0 and the user is not locked.

Hope this helps. Regards,

Ana.
