Time-dependent master data to be aggregated?

Dear BI-Experts!

My 0MATERIAL master data (time-depentent) in table /BI0/QMATERIAL looks like this:

This is due to the weekly loading.

Material Vaidd To Valid from Transfer price

000000000008258057 2009.10.25 1000.01.01 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.01 2009.10.26 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.02 2009.11.02 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.08 2009.11.03 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.09 2009.11.09 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.15 2009.11.10 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.16 2009.11.16 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.22 2009.11.17 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.23 2009.11.23 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.29 2009.11.24 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.11.30 2009.11.30 150,34

000000000008258057 2009.12.07 2009.12.01 150,34

000000000008258057 9999.12.31 2009.12.08 150,34

This obviously is quite inefficient, as all the intervals could be aggregated to one only.:

Material Vaidd To Valid from Transfer price

000000000008258057 9999.12.31 1000.01.01 150,34

Does anyone have an idea how to do this? Unless the master data table will grow to much, for no sense...

Thanks a lot

Frank
