How to use SAP HANA ExcelAdapter for Sharepoint Access on Microsoft Office 365

Hi Folks,

I am trying to connect to our company sharepoint site on Microsoft Office 365.

E.g. https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/sites/mysite.

I am not sure if I can connect with to the site through the SAP HANA ExcelAdapter though.

I am able to using the Microsoft Graph API to connect using the Access Token so I am wondering if that is the way to proceed if the adapter does not work.

Anyone out there able to connect to Sharepoint on the Microsoft Office 365 site?

The current SAP HANA Excel Adapter (as of December 2018) does NOT connect to Microsoft Office 365 Sharepoint. It only connects with Sharepoint on premise. We built a custom adapter that does this. I may post a BLOG in the near future on how we implemented this.

Hello Jay,

I assume that you have tried standard options available in Excel Adapter.

If you are not able to access it with standard options available, please make sure that sharepoint side user configuration/Authorization allows you to share files with your username.
