notification status problem while close the inpsection

Hi All,

I have a inspection lot for the materials. i inspect and reject the qty to blocked stock. and created the notification

now the correction was made.i need to move this to quality and unrestricted stock.

but the notification is still open. if i try to close . it shows that status is not allow to close.

pls provide ans to close this issue.

Hi

Which Inspection type you are using.

Are you sure that this issue is realted to Lot and Not Autherization because as per my knowledge there is no relation between Lot & inspection status unless userExit applied.

Please check autherization.

inspection type = 01

and i was not saying the status of inpection lot.

i am saying about the status of the nodification.

What happened is?

while reject the stock . they created the notification. and do the result with the not ok.

in result . i make it as OK.

but notification ? i donot know how to handle or close the nodification.

Even i try to close the inspection by UD, but system said message " even default are there , the lot is forcely closed by ud "

how to do close.

pls explain the step ?

Hi

Sorry actually I mean to say the status of the Notification only.

Even if you forcefully take the UD of the lot ,System should allow you to close the corrosponding notification generated.

What is message you are getting while closing Notification.?

What is current status of notifcation?

the status is : NOPR OSTS NOPT .

the system thru the message : u try to close the inspection by UD forcely even the deflect nodification is there

and the action log is :

Also the stock is there in bloced stock alone. while doing the UD (forcely), system did not ask for the posting to unrestricted stock.

but user do the mannual transfer posting from blocked to unrestriced.

Now i need the material to nrestriced and the nodification should be closed.

Hi

OSTS means 3 tasks are out standing in Notification.So please close all the tasks in the notification.

for closing notification status of all tasks must be TSCO TSSC

Then try to close the notification

Sorry to ask,

How to close the task in the notification.

And one more think, i moved the stock from blocked to quality Mannually. Then i close the Inspection lot by UD forcely.

then i check the lot by display user decision . in the tab inspection lot stock

system show the stock is there in Blocked stock .

How to move the stock to unrestriced.

Hi

How to close the task in the notification.

Go to task tab.see how many are out standing.

1.select the Task.Click on release.check status will become TSRL

2.anow click on complete.check status will become TSCO

3.click on sucessful.check status will become TSCO TSSC.

i moved the stock from blocked to quality Mannually

How you ave moved it manually.Is it by 08 Inspection type then you need not to do it.

Direcly you can do MB1B-->343 mvt -->material will move to Unrestricted.

If material is in you have done MB1b-->349 ,& lot is created then task UD & post material In Unrestricted use.

How come material again moved to Block stock

No Automatically this will not happen.You have to post it manually

dear if you are using a notification type like F2 then in notification there is Action box

There is provision of putting material to block stock & reverse the same.

Please check it once.

Hi sujit,

The lot was created for the movement 349.

but it ask for the new task list FOR USAGE 3.

But because of our mistake of use 349 movement. i donot want to create the new task list for usage 3.

shall i rever the 349. if it like. whether the lot what was created will be deleted automatically.

And about Action box in Notification.

What you can do is

Go to QA02>enter inspectionlot-->Go to inspection specification--->change the usage from 3 to 5 & click on assign specification.Task list of usage 5 will get attached.

Now click on sample & save,

Check the status of Inspection lot.It will become REL from CRTD.

Now take UD & stock post lot to Unrestricted through QA11.

we use the notification type as II -( incoming inspection )

and one morethink i check the nodification for the task .

they maintained the item task list.

how we do change the status for this item task list as released, completed, successful.

I am not very clear how you ave used II type notification for the defect(As it si not std SAP).

I request you to use std SAP F2 type notification which has reference of inspection lot & purchse order.

Also check f2 type notification ,on the right side you will get a "action box"which I am trying to mension for quit a long time.
