Last template version is not accessed using openfile

Hi all,

I have created a custom menu from which I open some templates.

The problem is that if I change some of them, when the user tries to open the template using the custom menu, the old version is opened, not the newest one.

I have save the templates into Wizard/ folder, have updated the template version and refreshed the dynamic templates using client options on the BPC client. But it is still not working.

Any idea about how to get the last template version?

Regards,

Ana

Hi,

Have you tried "Set template version" in the Admin? Try giving the new template version. Also Once again try clicking the "Refresh client-side dimension files option" in Admin. Once this is done logout of Admin and Login in to BPC for Excel - eTools - Client Options -click on Refresh dynamic templates.

Also if possible click on " Clear local Application information". Also becareful with this option as this will delete all the info stored on your local machine. Once you click on this, make sure you have the server name etc details because next time when you login into BPC for Admin or Excel it would prompt for Server name, user id and pwd. You have to go through the connection wizard while logging in into Excel or Admin. Once you go through the connection wizard, all the templates would be downloaded to your local machine again.

I hope this will resolve the issue.

Thanks

Hi,

I have tried everything and the only thing that is "almost" working is clear the local application information.

The problem is that I have the custom menu in one application and some reports from different applications are called.

If I have not loggen on all the applications before one by one, the openfile function is not working.

Is there any way to do it "automatic"?
