Need to maintain a text for an attribute infoobject in dso

Hi Experts,

I am having a requirement where in a dso I need to mainitain the text for an infoobject having attribut data.

Like rollno is an infoobject having data as 01, here for this infoobject having it's value as 1 should be diaplayed as "Vinod"(text for 01 value) instaed of 01, can you please help me indoing this.

Hi,

you need to have text master for that info-object. If it's a Z infoobject then you can create a generic flat file data-source and load the text for your respective roll numbers through that, for e.g 01 Vinod.

load the master data to rollno like below format

Language rollno description

En 01 vinod

might be your issue may solve.
