RFC open error with SAPOSS

Hi,

When i try to implememt SAP note in solman 4.0 iam getting message as

Error in remote connection to destination SAPOSS:

Error when opening an RFC connection

We have not configure SAPROUTER but from OS level iam uploading the note and i changes RFC connection under logon and security as with user as S-user id and password . Iam still getting probelm.
