Hello Experts,

Iam starting Training & Event Management for my client.We are not giving Enterprise Portal.For as is collection,what major area in Training should i be focusing?

I already had a round of meeting with the end users.Where i just asked about how any event/Training takes place ??

Can anyone plz let me know what are Imp things/questions to be asked from client so that i can map end to end in to-be,

Hi,

Make them decide on their training catalog first.

In the meanwhile, they should decide on whick of the statuses they will be using -prebooked - booked - rebooked , etc-

Moreover, they should decide whether there will be any prerequisite connection btw the trainings and whether trainings will be bringing qualifications to employees.

Could u plz make it a bit clear..yes they do want to intergrate Qualifications with Training needs.

Training catalog is the hierarchical structure of all the trainings that are given in a company.

Business event groups are folders. Thus you need to make the key users decide on the main groupings of their trainings -e.g. Inhouse trainings/ Outsource trainings- or -e.g. Technical / Nontechnical- etc.

Business event types are the trainings. They need to decide on which trainings they are gonna define along with their capacities, prerequisite trainings and imparted qualifications.

e.g. SAP HR ABAP training resides under technical trainings business event group. The prerequisite of this training is ABAP Entry level training. After completion of SAP HR ABAP training the person will impart the qualification "SAP HR ABAP".

For qualification integration, you need to have implemented your qualification catalog via OOQA.

Thanks Dilek once again.

Now it is clear.So i need to check with with about types of trainings(broader way,which will make training calatouge).Prerequisties for each event types. & finally training evaluation.
