task list data got reversed because of change in obejct

When i am sheduling the maintenance plan i got the above error.

Msg No. is IP 331

Can anybody suggest why this is coimg.

Check though Debugging what is going on :

• Trx."SE91" for Message "IP 331" ;
• Do a Where-Used and put some BreakPoints ;
• Then Execute your Actions to see what actually triggers the issue ...

Probably your recent Changes made (Alt.Labeling) have had an Object-Change effect?

As a Reference, see SAP-KBA 2582264 "Task list checks not performed during Mass change in IP18" : link

Extract :

"You have a maintenance plan item with a reference object (equipment or functional location) and a task list assigned. If you change the reference object in transaction IP02 and do not change task list fields, you receive message IP331 (for equipment) or IP355 (for functional location) and the task list fields are initialized. This is ok. If you perform the same change via Carry Out a Mass Change in transaction IP17, no check is performed and the task list fields are not initialized. This is incorrect."

If you can't proceed any further in the analysis, get into contact with SAP Support ...

i had activated alternative labelling and then disabled it.Is it because of that this message is coming.Please suggest

Is it an Error or an Information Message? In our System the Message will be raised as Informative ...

So please verify if the Diagnosis matches your System : have there been changes in TechObject / Equipment?

.Its an information message. yes same diagnosis.Eventhough i havent changed any object i am getting this error.
