Pickin and packing

In sales cycle when is the picking and packing process initiated? What is the t/code to generate the ralative document?

Hi,

Picking and packing will be done after delivery and before PGI.

For this,goto the T.Code "OVLK".

Select your delivery type.Details.

Check whether the tick mark for the field "Automatic packing" is ticked or not.If it is ticked then packing will be done automatocally once you create the delivery.

Else Goto the T.Code "VL02N".

Enter your delivery.Press (Shift+F6) for packing.

Picking is nothing but creating the transfer order.

Goto the T.Code "LT03" for creating a single TO.

The path is:

SAP Easy access-->Logistics -->Logistics Execution -->Outbound Process -->Goods Issue for Outbound Delivery -->Picking -->Create Transfer Order .

Here you can create a single one or for multiple deliveries or collective processing.

Like this there are many options.Prior to this goto the T.Code "OVLP" or "0VLP(Zero VLP)".

Ensure that your item category is relevant for picking.

If at delivery level(0vlk) automatic picking and packing not cofigured, then what t/code we use for picking and packing?

Hi,

In sales cycle picking & packing initiates befor Post goods Issue e.g at the delivery level,

You can create delivery and determin packing, then you create transfer order(Picking).

How ever in sales order you can able to create packing proposal also.

Cycle

Sales order>>Create Deliver(Here u pack quantities) and save>>Create Transfer order(Picking)>>> PGI>>>Invoice
