Dependency characteristic calculation on Pressing Enter

In CG02 I have a characteristic e.g., KUNNR ( customer number ) from which I am deriving a dependent characteristic, Description, which is customer name + country combined. This calculation works fine if save is pressed on the CG02 screen. After save the Function module for the dependent characteristic is executed and the value re-calculated. However the user wants the dependent characteristic to be updated on pressing enter in the CG02 property tree for the particular specification. To me it seems standard that the dependent characteristic is calculated only on save.Can anyone let me know if there is any way to influence this standard behavior of the dependent characteristic calculation.

your topic i sasked for here very rarely. As EHS has seen improvements over the the last years: a lot of solution options are now possible. So which version of SAP ERP are you using nmow? Based on the the version a may be better solution might be possible.

Hello Deepak,

I think "dependent characteristic calculation" is not supported by EHS as I'm not aware that there's any documentation or IMG / Customizing within or for EHS highlighting this feature.

Are you sure this is the standard coding from the class system and not some customer coding executed in the At SAVE BAPI in CG02?
