Guided Procedures - Owner process role

We are trying to implement SAP's Life and Work Events functionality using Guided Procedures.

I have a general question about who to assign to the Owner process role.

I have a Guided Procedure that will be executed by an employee when he gets married. The guided procedure will allow the employee to update dependents and select new benefits, etc. All actions in the guided procedure will be executed by the employee getting married (Initiator).

Should I define the process so that the process Owner is the Initiator of the process (the employee getting married)? Or should I define the Owner of the process to be an employee in HR that would assist the employee with completing this Marriage guided procedure?

If you have implemented the Life and Work Events functionality at your company, could you please share what type of user you have assigned to the Owner process roles? I am not sure if the Owner should always be the Initiator of the process (the employee executing the Life and Work Event) or if the Owner should be someone from HR.
