Can anyone out there share success stories around implementing the dynamic cycle counting functionality in ERP WM? We are considering this functionality but are hesitant because of issues that are being uncovered in our initial prototyping. The functionality appears to have been initially designed to support "on-the-fly" RF counting, and I'm not sure it evolved properly to support planned counting (eg. creating planned counts via LX26 etc.). I have spoken with a few other companies that have experienced similar issues with this functionality. I'm trying to figure out if this is a common theme when trying to deliver this functionality.
Hello,
Basically DCC with transaction LM59 is used in SAP WM. This is very good functionality with RF device. Please let us know what is your requirement which is not covered in this. Through this transaction LM59 you can scan HU & confirm bin where this HU is located.

I understand this might work well for business requirements that indicate a need to do "on the fly" type of counting (i.e. walk up to any bin in the warehouse at any point in time, scan the bin, enter the count results), however we don't have such requirements. We are interested in utilizing this functionality for planned counting (LX26 etc.)
