Address Formats - Country

Former Member

Hi

I have 2 companies.

In Address formats screen, I have a field "Country" formatted as Upper Case, Description. This appears properly.

However, in the second company, I have same layout but the "Country" field does not appear in the preview below. I am checked that the field is Country and not County.

Thanks,

Ajay Audich

So do you mean the Country is selectable on the 2nd company?

Yes. As I have mentioned in my original post, I have selected Country in both companies. I can see Country in top half in the field.

However, in the preview at bottom, for first company, I can see Lombard, etc., etc., USA whereas in second company the USA does not appear. It stops after Lombard, San Francisco CA 80300. No USA

You may run another query SELECT * from OCRY to see if your Country Table is correct or not.

The country table is also correct.

I tried creating a Sales Order in second company with the address format. The country appears correctly here. The problem only seems to be in the PREVIEW at the bottom of the address format.

Since that is okay for me for now, I am closing this post.

Thanks for your support.

Hi Ajay Audich,

Country and County are two different fields. You need to change County to Country in order to display Country.

Thanks,

Hi Gordon Du

I have already checked that the field I have selected is Country and not county - as I have clarified in my original post.

In spite of that, I am unable to see the Country.

I am confused by your 2 posts. Could you run a query to see what is in the table:

SELECT * from oadf

Hi

1. In the company where it appears correctly, your query gives format column as:

dollar-1 dollar-N dollar-2 dollar-5 dollar-3 dollar-N dollar-6 [UD]

2. In the company where it does NOT appear correctly, your query gives format column exactly the same.

$1$N$2 $5 $3$N$6[UD]

How many Address Elements could you see on the second company?

Hi

I can see 8 Address Elements in both companies starting with Street and last one being Free Text on the right hand side of the screen.

Thanks
