retrospective population of MCI7.

We have been running SAP for some years now but till now have not used breakdown analysis (since we have not previously populated the startup date). My question is, if we now populate the start-up field of an equipment, can we retrospectively update the breakdown analysis so that pas orders display in MCI7?

Thanks for any assistance with this.

Keith

hi

Even though start up date is not populated ,system will calculate the breakdown analysis based on the first Malfuntion start time (if two or more notification is created) for the technical object .

For breakdown analysis min 2 or more notification is needed.

cutomizing setting for update infostructure is need for the notification type

Hi,

I had read elsehwere on this forum that the start date was necessary. So, I took an equipment and added a start date and then created two notifications/orders and these appear in MCI7. However, the Notifications/orders created prior to me entering the start date do not appear.

If I leave the selection criteria completley open, all I get is the two notifications I just created.

It therefore seems to me that the start-up date is key as was advised previously.
