Leave Request Approval and Time sheet

Hi all,

i have two Queries related to time management.

1. Where we have to assign the workflow for Time sheet Approval Service located in ESS.Where the employee enters his actual hours and submits it for approval.this is a standard service

2 For Leave Request Approval i have assigned the workflow ,but if i dont need the User name to be entered by employee as workflow determines the approver.how can i remove..is thr any customizing or thru development.

Please suggest your inputs...

2. Check the configuration for your absence types (it is in the same path where you configure that which workflow will trigger for each absence type). There is an option to "disable" the approver field. => I won't be necessary to enter the approver anymore.

Employee Self-Service->Service-Specific Settings>Working Time>Clock-In/Out Corrections>Processing Processes>Define Processing Processes

Select the check box Use Business workflow

Employee Self-Service->Service-Specific Settings>Working Time>Leave Request>Processing Processes>Specify Processing Processes for Types of Leave

Goto the tab USer Interface Elements..

Display Field for Next Agent.
