Hi!
I would like to get a detailed information about the following issues:
- Central distribution of SAP Logon.ini file on Windows
- Installation and configuration of additional components (such a planning table of IS-H) within SAP GUI
Any helpful information will be very appreciated
Hello Jürgen
first you need an "Frontend Installation Server" for such scenarios.
Please pay attention the "FRONTEND Installation Guide". There you can find all information you need
( please look at chapter 3.6.6 or use the sample scripts from the Installation Server Help.chm)
The documentation of the samples for package event scripting is contained in the Installation Server Help.chm file, which you can either find on the CD, or in the installation directory, or using the SAPSetup Installation Server Administration Tool (NWSAPSetupAdmin.exe) by choosing the Help Menu u2013> SAP Installation Server Help. In this documentation, navigate through the tree structure as follows: Administering an Installation Server Maintaining Installation Packages Configuring Packages and Scripting Events Package Event Scripting Samples.
Do you need help in Installation of the FronetdnInstallation server -> please open OSS message in BC-FES-INS!
Best Regards, Sven
