Hi Gurus,

Could any one explain the functionality of logical link type .we have few logical link types LAUNCH TRANSACTION,WORK CENTER and TYPE.

my problem is that we have created a Logical link ZINVOCE to view the invoices from CRM Web UI which are created in Backend billing system(ECC).

We have selected logical link type - TYPE

Target ID : BSP-DLC-FS

Parameter :ISU_BICONS_FS

Parameter class : CL_CRM_IU_FS_NAVBAR_PARAM

I want to know which FM/Methods system is triggering when this particular logical link is called.

Please let me know if few more details are required.

Regards,

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

There are different types of logical links....1.Link 2.Launch Transaction 3.Workcenter 4.BI report. I am unable to see any TYPE. 'Link' is used to display any hyper links or normal logical links...........'Workcenter' is used to display a workcenter link, it cant be used as normal logical link................Launch Transaction is used to call a GUI transaction/ BSP-NonBSP Url.

In your case you have mentioned it as 'TYPE', as I am not able to see this, all I can tell you is, the parameter class which you have mentioned would get triggered at runtime on click on this link.

Hope this helps.

Hello Ravi,

Each link is linked to a target id. In spro goto CRM->UI framework->Technical Role Definition-> Work area component repository. Here you find the target id mapped to a bsp component and its window, this is the place where it gets called from. You can start debugging at this point.

Hope this helps.
