Dear Experts,
I am working on an ECC6 Ehp8-system (backend) with a frontend (Gateway, Fiori) and after implementing a transactional app which is delivered by SAP I get in the app a message “error while saving the request: wrong assignment data” (/IWEP/CM_MGW_RT022).
In /IWBEP/ERROR_LOG I can find this message /IWEP/CM_MGW_RT022. Following I’ve checked so far:
There seems to be no auth. error in SU53 in backend/frontend. There’s no shortdump in backend/frontend. I didn't find an appropriate OSS note.
Could somebody please give me some hints how to solve that?
Thank you,
GM

Hi,
I've refreshed both meta-data caches. Afterwards I got another error message and found an OSS-note which helped to get rid of the error message. But now I am getting again an error related to /IWEP/CM_MGW_RT022. The error text in the Gateway Error log is "Wrong assignment data." I've attached some further screenshots.gateway-error-messages.png
I didn't found an appropriate OSS-note. Do you've an idea how to proceed?
Txs,
Gerd

Hello,
we don‘t have the micro hub scenario active, i.e. in ‚Manage SAP System Aliases‘ the checkbox ‚OData on Backend‘ is not flagged.
We’re on Netweaver 7.5 SP11 (03/18) in the frontend server and use Netweaver 7.4 SP16 in the backend server.
Do you’ve any other ideas?
Txs,
Gerd

Hi Gerd,
Did you try to refresh the metadata cache for service RM_FIORI_PROJECT_SRV on both backend and frontend in transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE? (best to do backend first, then frontend)
Another thing that might solve your problem is running report /ui2/invalidate_global_caches to clear all Fiori / Gateway caches. (be careful it might take some time rebuild the caches, so the first time you load the launchpad you might encounter slow performance / incomplete loading of the tiles)

Hi,
I assume you are running a recent netweaver stack as well? Could you check if you are using a micro hub scenario in your frontend server configuration?
You can check if you are using a micro hub scenario here (frontend server):
If so, please check if note 2617459 (v2 Batch Request: Fix empty response of batch operation in Micro Hub scenario) applies to your backend system. I had a similar issue at a customer after an upgrade, this note solved this issue. (might have some prerequisite notes depending on your system release)
Best regards,
Geert-Jan Klaps
