Hi all ,

We have the below requirement . We want to have different values posted in the different depreciation areas of the AUC asset . We want to settle the values from these depreciation areas to more than 5 fixed assets using a % value .

We cannot use use KO88 as there are some issues with this program in our system . How can we transfer the values from the AUC to Final Assets based on % and with different values in the different depreication areas .

Also is it possible to create an AUC asset without an Internal Order ?

Thanks ,

Srikanth

Hi Srikanth,

settlement to different depreciation areas is not supported in AIAB/AIBU (so without investment management - internal order or WBS). See my blog about capitalization to see how to setup KO88 settlement for that.

If you really cannot use KO88 then use AIAB/ AIBU and create separate postings in each area to adjust values - there is unfortunatelly no other way when you do not use investment management.

Marek

Thanks Marek . I have gone through the blog and it helps .

Also to mention we are using the Internal Order , so the AUC asset is related to an investment measure . Also we cannot use AIAB / AIBU as we use summary settlement and not the line item settlement .

And also possible via investment management or project system (WBS)

Yes, it is possible to create an AUC asset without an Internal Order. You can settle them using Distribution (AIAB) and Settlement (AIBU)
