Can u pl explain the Preventive Maintenace cycle?

Where it starts & where it ends & the transaction codes

Hello,

Create Single Cycle / Strategy Plan

Schedule the plan

Based on the start date and frequency, system will generate the maintenance orders

Orders can be viewed in IW38 transaction. You can restrict the orders by entering order type that you have chosen for preventive maintenance order (Generally PM02).

After you process the order, confirm the activity duration with t-code IW41.

After that, go to transaction IW32 and complete the order.

Furhter, do business completion after all jobs pertaining to the orders completed.

I have created the plan in IP02.In the Maint Plan Scheduling Parameters i have given call horizon 100% & schedule period 365.

I want the system to generate 365 plans for a year(IE-1 plan for 1 day.)Is the parameter maintained correct?

Try IP41 for single cycle plan... you will get an idea...

be specific on your question... information about preventive maintenance are vague
