What are the disadvantages of using fm NAMETAB_GET in ecc6.0

Hi Sanjay,

The only disadvantage that i see using NAMETAB_GET FM si that it is now an obsolete FM and soon in later verision of SAP this fm shall be deleted so, if u r using anywhere this fm or any other FM that have become obselete than pls replace them with either a method or a new released FM . ( use can find the name of the replaced fm in the documentation of the FM ) .

The Repalced fm for NAMETAB_GET IS DDIF_NAMETAB_GET' u can use this fm instead.

Function module NAMETAB_GET has become obsolute and hence the use should be avoided in future.

SAP can delete this any time.

You can use FM DDIF_NAMETAB_GET instead.
