Understanding Problem with SAP Systems

Hello,

I just wan't to know what the difference is between a SAP R/3 and SAP ERP.

Wikipedia says that R/3 is the same as SAP ERP.

I got Both Systems installed but I don't know how to classify them. If I log-in in them, each system is different.
