Hi,
I am trying to implement a change to the purchase requisition release strategy (into a live system) to reapply the release procedure if the price on the req increases by >10%. I made the setting in the Release Indicator config (changeability = 4, tolerance =10.0).
There has been an unexpected problem. When the people who maintain the Projects via project systems (CJ20N) made a change to the date of one of the milestones on their project. This caused all the requisitions linked to the networks under that project, which had had a price change in the past (some up to a year ago) to have the release strategy reapplied. These old reqs were all ordered, fully receipted and invoiced, the delivery complete indicator was also set on the order item.
In the projects info system I can see the change document specifies that they changed the basic finish date on the network.
Does anyone know why this would trigger the Purchase Requisition release strategy to be reinvoked?
thanks,
Michelle.
