Designing a 5 year Roadmap for Business Objects - Things to consider

Hello All,

I'm tasked with developing a 5 year Roadmap for our BO BI platform including milestones, recurring activities, short/long term goals etc. Can anyone share some insight on the best way to approach this, what are the other factors that I will need to consider ?

First architect the platform with potential growth of user base/content base in mind. Make it either vertical or Horizontally scalable to accommodate the future needs.

Backup of all the BO content on regularly so better prepare for Disaster recovery time. Continuously monitor the growth of BO content. Periodically tune the system.
