Content repository DMS_C1 does not exist (CMS002)

Hi Experts,

I am working with DMS and I was trying to use standard DMS_C1_ST storage category to store my documents. Surprise is that I don't have it customized (isn't it standard??!!).

1. In OAC0, content repository DMS_C1 everything seems normal: It is active, the document area is DMS, storage type is SAP system database and more important, appears as last changed by SAP.

2. In OACT everything seems allright as well

3. In CSADMIN, when I try to access repository DMS_C1 I get an error CMS002: "Content repository DMS_C1 does not exist". You can even search for it in the matchcode, it is in the search results but still gives this error...

Is there any possibility that use of content repositories has been deactivated? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Isabel

Hi Experts,

Problem solved, it relied on the configuring of using Kpro on a document type.

Thank you,

In your document type configuration, select the option, Use KPro

Then it should work.

Dear Amaresh,

I am using BDS_BUSINESSDOCUMENT_CREA_TAB to create an attachment to a transaction code. It has a parameter signature, butu I don't know how can I configure it to use K-Pro.

I have managed to attach an attachment to a notification object(Object Class: BUS2038A) Class type: BO (Business Object), Object key (notification ID: 10002213 ).

In the Transaction OAOR, given the above data i can see the list of documents for Notfication 10002213 .The problem is the documents do not show up in the Attachment List in the Transaction IW23.

I have used the code from this thread: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs;jsessionid=(J2EE3417300)ID0098955550DB10784379632571001682End...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Regards,

In spro, under document management -> control data you can find the activity Define document types. In this activity you can define the document types to be used.

Figure out which is the type that you are using in your scenario and configure it as Amaresh commented before.

Hope it helps.
