HI,

Please check the available capacity, in the work center,

you said " 8 Man Hrs"

but how many persons u defined as capacity in work center that would be the out come of total available capacity,

In this case say you have 6 persons working for 18 Hrs a day, available capacity system would calculate as 6*18=108 Hrs

So what you are saying as 8 hrs multiply it by no. of persons you will get the time req. and use this time in routing.

You should get proper scheduling, But criteria is u must use proper formulas in WC capacity and scheduling tab .

And Run MRP with 2 - Lead time scheduling

Hi

Thanks for the reply, number of person in the work centre -1, 8 Hrs per day. so total capacity per hour 8hrs. When using MD02, I run mrp using Run MRP with 2 - capacity planning and Lead time scheduling, still no change in dates of planned orders.

Kindly help me.

HI,

What is your scheduling type, if it is backward scheduling, the planned order dates wont change unless falls in past.

and also the i house production time you give in material master plays the role here.

Have you used the formulas in work center in capacity and scheduling tab, the correct one, is a must.

Hi,

MRP does not care about capacity - it assumes that it is there in infinite amounts.

Why don't you look at finite capacity scheduling functionality?

I guess you need to use distribution key to split your requirements along the time axis evenly or as per function you define.

Reaserch more on how to use the same.

if you are using Rem, you can plan the production in planing table(MF50) and generate the plan orders on required dates.
