Dear All,

I have configured OSS message functionality in SOLMAN for Service desk. I able to send OSS message to SAP.

MY concern is now what are the details will be accessed by SAP like

1. Will they able to see any internal communication that has happened between the end user and consultant.

2. Will they able to access the documents that have been attached for internal purpose.

3. How to send attachment to SAP regarding the error.

Please revert ASAP.

Hi,

SAP OSS functionality helps you to forward un-resolved issues to SAP.

At the time of forwarding entire message contents also reach SAP.

To fix issues they will ask you to open respective system link.

Hi All,

I have attached some documents in document tab and send it to OSS from SOLMAN. But the attached document is not reflecting in the service marker place.

what could be the reason.Have i missed some settings?

Send Attachments to SAP

Use

Hi

Are you aware of this

Only specified file types can be sent to SAP, for security reasons, all other attachments sent to SAP are refused.

You should run the program AI_SDK_FILL_FILE_TYPE_TABLE so that SAP can read all the attachments which you send with your message . The program updates the file type tables AISDK_FILETX and AISDK_FILETY. You can run this program manually or schedule it as a periodic background job.

Goto SPRO->basic settings->background jobs->Send attachments to SAP

Activities

Run program manually

1. Specify the program AI_SDK_FILL_FILE_TYPE_TABLE and run it.

2. Set the Update flag in the following dialog.

3. Run the program.

Schedule program as background job

4. Schedule the program as a background job.

Start time: Immediately.

Period: Quarterly (every three months)

Hope this wil solve ur prb

Hi,

I have shedulded the backgroud job as per your suggestion. But still i couldn't able to see the attachment in the service market place. is that some thing more i need to do.
