Installing sapcryptolib library on iseries for SSO single sign on.

Dear Experts,

I am trying to Install sapcrypto library on iSeries OS/400 V6R1 based on the note 758667 & 1149088 .

I would like to know exact command syntax for uploading saprypto.savf , Also my server running

sap ecc 6.0, DB2, OS/400 V6R1, Kernel sp level 201, Please let me how to apply R3INLPGM,-patch level 21

STARTSAP- patch level 4 (1149088 ). Althought kernel level running on 201, does it required to update 21 & 4?

Hi Chidam,

For your release ECC 6 .0 the save file version of sapcrypto does not apply. You need to follow the instructions for 7.00 in note 1149088.

Regarding the patches: note 49365 should help.

However, if you need to transfer a save file <dir>/<savf.file>from your PC to an IBM i box do the following:

on i:

crtsavf <lib>.<savf>

on your pc:

ftp <host>
cd <lib>
lcd <dir>
bin
put <savf.file> <savf>
quit

on i:

rstobj...

Hi,

I have follwed the steps from 49365 but i could not apply the patch r3inlpgm & startsap. i have copied the r3inlpgm....sar file to

/tmp, Still same issue as below:

SAPCAR: NOT ALL FILES COULD BE EXTRACTED

SAPCAR: 0 FILES EXTRACTUED

Press enter to end terminal session

sometimes

error opening /tmp/hostname_sidofr/QGPL.SAR

0 FILES EXTRACTED

Let me show the inputs which i tried:

APYR3FIX SID(PRD)

SAVF(QGPL)

SAVLIB(GEN700UOPT)

KRNLIB(SAPPRDKRNL)

GETSAVF(*YES)

FROMHOST(*LOCAL)

FROMDIR('/tmp')

FROMFILE(*SAR) also i have tried with full filename (eg R3INLPGM.SAR)with extension.

SID = PRD, kernellibrary =SAPPRDKRNL, SAVLIB= GEN700UOPT, sar file folder /TMP, .

Please let me have the sytax to run apyr3fix for .SAR files available in i series system.

Hi Chidam,

give it one more try with R3INLPGM.SAR and SAVF(QGPL/R3INLPGM)
