file not found

Hi,

When I access BPC for Excel (NW) I get an error 'file not found' and I cannot make any reports.

Where can I see what this error message concerns? Is there any log for this?

Br,

Sonni

BPC can't find the local versions of the dimension xml files. (the files that are in the My Documents/BPC folder).

Steps to resolve:

1. in BPC Excel, eTools - Refresh Dimension Members.

2. Then close & reopen BPC.

We have seen this "file not found" error happen before - especially if we are switching from wired to wireless or from one wireless access point to another. In our landscape, the My Documents folder is also redirected to a server for backup purposes. We're not positive, but it seems this may contribute to BPC losing sight of the dimension files.

Hope that helps.

It seems the structure of File server for your appset is not right.

You have to use UJFS transaction to see if it is right.

Also you can use the program UJA_DATA_CHECKER to see what is wrong.
