Hi,

Please make sure that you have the admin rights on your machine and install the active X components.

Internet options --> Security --> Internet --> Custom Level --> ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins <<==>> ACTIVATE these for all the Active X parameters.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Which version of Office are you using? if 2007, try installing the SP2 and then re-install the Office client.

Are you facing any issues while processing your dimension?

Hi Pablo,

Before trying reinstallation of BPC Office, can you pls tell me which SQL server you are using? If its 2008, request you to install the backward compatibility pack for 2005.

Hope this will resolve the issue.

Office 2003

MS SQL 2005.

However, I could install BPC Client in other computers. but one shows that error.

Hi Pablo,

Then the problem is with the Active X settings. I would request you ro re-visit the active x settings in the system.

In addition, check the below as well.

1. Copy x:\bpc\websrvr\web\<installation directory>\xceedzip.dll from the application server to your client machines in x:\program files\bpc;

2. Unregister it and re-register it, using resp. regsvr32 -u "x:\Program files\BPC\XCeedzip.dll" and regsvr32 "x:\Program files\BPC\XCeedZip.dll" at DOS commmand prompt;

3. Copy x:\bpc\websrvr\web\<installation directory>\xceedzip.dll from the appserver to x:\bpc\websrvr\bin;

4. Unregister it and re-register it, using resp. regsvr32 -u "x:\bpc\websrvr\bin\XCeedZip.dll" and regsvr32 "x:\bpc\websrvr\bin\XCeedZip.dll" at DOS commmand prompt;

5. Finally, from the Administration Console, on the Application Set node, click Refresh client-side dimensfion files;

Hope it helps.

Hi!

Check version of your BPC for Office client version it should be 7.0.115. You can check it when you launch BPC for Excel in the window of selection AppSet and Application in right corner.

If it's 7.0.115 try remove BPC for Office client in ADD/REMOVE Programs and Restart computer.

When again install BPC for Office client.

If this error will be still apear try delete folder Outlooksoft in path C:
Document and Settings\%User%\My Documents\Outlooksoft

Best regards,

Iaroslav
