Hello.

We have several custom WebDynro applications running on SAP NW 7.31 which used custom web services on the BW system. After the underlying database of BW systems has changed from Oracle to HANA the following error occured while our application try to call web service:

...

Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.client.bindings.exceptions.TransportBindingException: Parameter set failure. The runtime was not able to set some parameter value. See nested exception for details.
at com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.client.bindings.impl.SOAPTransportBinding.deserializeParameter(SOAPTransportBinding.java:2342)
at com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.client.bindings.impl.SOAPTransportBinding.deserializeResponse(SOAPTransportBinding.java:1951)
... 109 more
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Model class metadata with name '$002fWsdlDefinitions$002fWsdlTypes$002fXsdSchema$005b2$005d$002fXsdElement$005b20$005d$002fXsdComplexType' does not exist.
at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.model.WSModel.createModelObject(WSModel.java:122)
...

What we did to resolve this error:

1) recreate services in new BW system

2) reimport these services as models into WD

3) redeploy DC with reimported models

4) restart NW server

5) recreate configuration for web services in SOAMANAGER

But with no effect.

In the same time another custom web service from the same BW system called by the same WD application without any errors.

Regards,

Lev
