Budget cross year

Dear Experts,

I plan to start implemet the budget module next year, but have some doubt, let say, i have PO which is posting date 28.12.2009 and AP Invoice posting date is 15.01.2010, so the 2010 budget will effected coz the AP Invoice posting posting date.

Please kindly advise.
