How to change the permanent key code for Crystal Report XI Server?

Hello,

After installing a trial version 30 days for Crystal Report Server, I registered my product and I received an activation key code permanent. The concern is that I do not see how to add the code key ...

In the CD, it said "Add this code key using the Crystal Management Console, but despite a total relocation with the permanent key code (including Java Web Component Adapters need to update the license key), I do not see this console management!

If I must necessarily have this console, perhaps there is there a procedure "step by step" for the installation?

How should I proceed?

Thank you for your answers

The Tomcat server was installed during product installation CRS.

How do I proceed to open a call with the deployment team?

If you have a support contract you will have to logon to http://service.sap.com/ with your S-user ID and log a new incident. When choosing the product use boj-bip-dep I believe (it's the team that handles new installation issues).

Hello,

BusinessObjects does not exist in <BOBJ installation directory> \ Tomcat \ webapps

I tried to stop the Tomcat server but the file was not created!

Here are the contents of <BOBJ installation directory> \ Tomcat \ webapps

- Balancer

- Jsp-Examples

- ROOT

- Servlets-Examples

- tomcat-doc

- Webdav

best regards

Franck

You should open a message with the deployment team, your entire business objects deployment is missing. This needs to be set up via several .xml files in the tomcat\conf\cataline\localhost. You are missing jfsadmin, business objects and I think 3 more in XIR2. Was this tomcat added separately or installed with the product?

Hi

can you please do the following:

1. Stop the tomcat

2. Go to <BOBJ installation directory>\Tomcat\webapps and rename the directory businessobjects to businessobjects_old

3. Start the tomcat and wait until the directory <BOBJ installation directory>\Tomcat\webapps\businessobjects is created again (this is done automatically)

4. Try again to navigate to the CMC using your internet browser.

Could you please also send me a list of the directories which are available under <BOBJ installation directory>\Tomcat\webapps ?

The Tomcat is "started"

When installing the server, I was not sure which port to use (on this server, I have a web application that uses ports 8080 and 8009 and had been advised to take the port 9080)

Hi

can you please check if the shortcuts to your InfoView and Administration console contain the new port?

Hi

can you make sure that your web server (tomcat?) is running? You can check this by invoking the Central configuration manager (Available in the list of programs in the CR Server group)

This is well under Windows

I do not Managment Central Console

In Start - Programs - Business Objects - Crystal Report Server ago

Using the migration wizard data source

Migration Wizard data source

Upsizing Wizard repository

Publishing Wizard

Registration Wizard

Import Wizard

Central Configuration Manager

Manager for Corporate

Info view Java

Administration module Java

Online Developer Library

Release Notes

Administration module Java seems more coherent, but I got an error opening (HTTP Status 404 - / businessobjects/enterprise115/adminlaunch) ???????

That was the correct guess but it seems that the CMC is not running. Can you please select the Info view Java entry? Do you get access to the InfoView?

Hi

is this a windows installation? If yes, go to your server and look under Start->Programs in the Crystal Report Server program group (sorry this is an old version you have there so I cannot provide you the exact path) for an entry called Central management console. Start it and login as administrator in your CRS. This is your CmC.
