Stock Removal to Default bin

Hi All,

I need to do a stock removal to a default storage bin against a delivery note. But the question here is, the standard SAP already has a strategy to have a stock removal to Shipping area as the interim bin. Which I cant use , and How do I control the movement to this interim bin when doing a TO.

thanks for the help

Hello,

In movement type configuration 601, remove dynamic storage bin flag and enter default storage bin and storage type. Ensure that you have defined same storage type and BIN in LS01N

Thanks

BUT 601 is already used by Shipping interim location. How do we clone it?

In the interface to WM movement type, there's a field called 'Special Movement Indicator' which allows you determine different WM movement type. I attached the following Documentation for your review :

********

Special movement indicator for warehouse management

Use

This indicator is used to separate special posting procedures for Materials Management documents from the standard processing method. You can enter it manually for each goods movement in the Materials Management system. The system uses it to determine the movement type in the Warehouse Management system. In this way, different movement types in the Warehouse Management system as well as different interim storage types can be assigned to one movement type in the Inventory Management system.

Example

A goods receipt is posted to interim storage type 902 with movement type 101. If you enter this indicator as well, the tables are set up so that in this case the goods receipt is automatically posted to interim storage type 903.

********

Perhaps you can consider using this indicator to allow system determine a new customized WM movement type, which will then decides the bin it moves to. Hope this helps.
