Master data Info object description does not appear completely in report

We have master data with properties (Short txt ) and we changes to Medium text length . We change in the Query and complete description appears in Bex analyzer but cutting description in the Web template(standard ).

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

You have mentioned that the complete description shown in BEx Analyzer,but not in WAD output.

Open that query in QD and then execute the query,check whether it shows the complete description.

Try running in through RSRT Tcode and check for the proper description.

If it doesn't work only in WAD,then you just create a new web template in WAD and assign that query,save and execute the template and check.

Is there any work around to get that in existing template .? Do you think It will display complete description in new template.

How about to change the Info object properties to long text . Currently we have in Meduim text length.

Hi,

Changing the Info object properties to Medium,shaort or Long text in the backend should reflect in reporting.After changing the description,just reassign the query in Web template.It should reflect.

Since it works in other tools Analyzer,QD...it also work in WAD

Any Idea..

Master data hierarchy description is displayed ok in bex Analyzer but the description is cutting in Web analyzer in the report after the execution.

Please throw some idea
