Hi
I have created routing without any material assignment.
I have used it in production version of one material.
When i try to create planned order for that material then during scheduling it says that material does not have routing.
Dear
You have to maintain material in routing. Go to routing header and click material assignment, enter group say as 1 and your finished material code.

Mayuresh,
If you check the production version, it would give you error saying that Routing is not valid. You need to have the routing assigned to the material through material assignment and then use in the Production version.

Dear Mayuresh,
1) As you assigned Components in Routing still the valid & changed dates will be seen in headers data
2) so as per PV dates, still Routing will not have valid components
3) Go to CA02 there is a key date option change this date to before PV date & save
4) then do the consistence check in PV

Madhu
Mayuresh,
Check the Status in Header Detail, ensure its Released.
Thank you,
mk

Hi,
Whenever a production version is created, consistency check should be carried out.
In your scenario the production version created will show error if you run consistency check.
It is mandatory for you to assign the material in the material assignment tab in the routing header.
First assign the material in the routing and check the consistency in production version.
Hope above clears your doubts
Regards
Suri
